Economy Paver
 Looking for the cheapest paving option?
Some applications or customers might not require a world class paver like Bosun’s Standard and Premium options. Further, with paving, it might be difficult to identify premium quality if you are not an industry expert. Most would argue that a paving brick is merely a brick.
Why Bosun Standard and Premium Pavers might be more expensive?
Bosun uses the best possible manufacturing equipment imported from Germany and the best locally sourced aggregates in order to not only comply with, but in most instances exceed SABS specifications.
Our products also spend much more time curing in controlled conditions than the majority of our competitors.
It is obvious that the manufacture of such a product will cost more than manufacturing a product of a lower quality.
Therefore, Bosun introduced the New Economy Range of Pavers:
As the name suggests, this line of pavers is manufactured specifically for the more “price conscious” buyer.
The difference between Bosun Economy Pavers and the rest of our range:
In essence, the Economy range is not SABS approved. Our aim with our Standard and Premium ranges has always been to make a world class product that exceeds specifications laid down locally. Some other manufacturers however don’t share this philosophy and only sell on price. (The same as our Economy range). That said, our economy range still has the Bosun reputation to live up to. We will never produce products which could tarnish our reputation or contradict the promise on our logo (Expect the Best).
You will be able to visually see the difference between the Bosun Economy, and our other ranges. The Economy product is not as good as our Standard or Premium products.
The economy paver is however a much better paving option than building bricks for instance. The compressive strength of a stock brick is 7MPa, where our economy paver is between 20-25MPa.
Availability
The Economy range is available in Grey, Red and Black. Only 50mm bevel and 60mm interlocker forms will be manufactured for sale.

In terms of the Consumer Protection Act, we recommend our Standard and Premium ranges of pavers for all applications as they are world class products, backed up by rigorous testing and development. All customers must be aware of, and in writing acknowledge that he/she understands the difference between the Economy and other ranges before we will accept any order for the Economy range.
