Learn About Retaining Walls
The purpose of this section on our website is to provide general design and installation guidelines for segmental retaining walls constructed as gravity structures and as geosynthetic reinforced soil segmental retaining walls. In addition, we provide technical resources regarding our retaining wall systems.
A wall higher than 1.2m requires a design certificate from an engineer.

Retaining Wall Design
The strength of a retaining wall comes from the design – not the individual blocks. It is important to know the best practises and rules associated with the design of retaining wall structures. In this section we provide design concepts for our own products as well as international guidelines and engineering procedures necessary to produce safe, cost-effective retaining wall structures.

Retaining Wall Installation
A well-designed retaining wall structure will serve little to no purpose if installed incorrectly. It must be noted that the strength the structure comes from both the design and construction – not the individual blocks. In this section we provide an overview of the important aspects and best practises to ensure the correct and successful installation of segmental retaining wall structures.
