  • The spacing between Venetian pavers must be done manually in order to have adequate jointing gaps for grouting, because they do not have nibs. Butt jointing these pavers will eventually cause spalling.
  • We recommend that you make use of an experienced installer for the reason that these pavers are difficult to install.
  • For general jointing, we recommend using Kiln Dried Jointing Sand. Available from Cretesol, this specially graded, kiln-dried silica sand flows seamlessly into paving joints, filling them much more effectively compared to what plaster sand does, and creating superb interlock between the pavers.
  • For paved surfaces on steep slopes, we recommend using polymeric jointing sand such as Romex NP Jointing Sand to stabilise the joints and prevent the jointing sand from washing out.
  • Paved areas under gutter downpipes should be treated with a jointing stabiliser and sealer such as Resiblock 22. Doing this will prevent the jointing material from washing out and will prolong the lifespan of your paving.
  • The Urban Paver is also 60mm thick and has successfully been used in combination with the Venetian range.
Although this paver is not an Interlocker, it is thick enough to use on commercial driveways.
